He immediately fell in love with the thing, and easily occupied himself for hours at a time learning how to work the controls to perfection. Once he set up a mini driving course in the basement, my other kids took an interest as well. Soon, every member of the family wanted remote control toys of their own to play with. Since I thought it was a harmless hobby that would keep the children playing with each other, I agreed to buy them whatever remote control toys they wanted. From there, the hobby just took off. Our family collection of remote control toys now includes a whole array of cars, motorcycles, trucks, and off-road vehicles in a variety of designs and colors.
