Those parents thinking seriously about homeschooling their kids, can't help be come across some reports than show a real concern About Homeschool Socialization. What this basically means is that there are those who think that kids taken out of mainstream education, are also taken away from the social interaction among peer groups. It it thought that kids need to be with other kids so that they can compete with, grow up with, and lean from their equals. There is also the concern that they are less exposed to children of other cultures, and far less likely to make new friends from the various walks of life. Parents disgruntled with mainstream education don't think that shopping around for better schools in the answer. They have lost faith in the 'system' and think that exposing their kids to it will do them more harm than good in the long run. Homeschool Socialization is a concern where children lose out to socializing and interacting with others in their own age group in the classroom, the playground, and the sports field. Another minus is with school trips that are based around character building through travel, leisure, and bonding activities . Another factor regarding home-schooling is how to finance it, which is a whole new chapter!
